standards. The range of our capabilities allows us to
produce small to very large components with tolerances
anywhere from a fraction of an inch to a thousandth of
an inch, and with surface finishes and flatness’
measured in millionths of an inch.
Our expert machining, fabrication and assembly services
are backed by manufacturing quality processes such as
Six Sigma, including the concepts of Statistical Process
Control, Design for Manufacturability and Failure Modes
Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
As a result of our commitment to manufacturing quality,
Stein has achieved a wide range of certifications, including
ISO 9001:2000, AS9100, National Aerospace and Defense
Contractors Accreditation for Fluorescent and Magnetic
Particle Inspection (NADCAP-FPI-MPI). We are also rated
a Self-Release Supplier for most of our aerospace customers
and are certified to perform our own audits.
