Production Worker/ CNC Operator - Day Shift

We have a full-time opening on our day shift for a person with experience operating CNC machinery, using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers, and working from blueprints. The work involves precision CNC milling of carbon graphite material. Hours are 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM plus overtime when available overtime. Production Workers

Our production positions involve various tasks including operating computer controlled machinery and using hand tools to make parts for assemblies, measuring the parts to insure dimensional requirements are met, and to move completed parts and assemblies to other work stations.

Requirements include experience operating computer controlled machinery, preferably mills; ability to work from blueprints and use measuring instruments, ability to work with fractions and decimals, and the ability to handle (lift, move, position) parts and tools weighing up to 75 lbs.

Manufacturing Engineer

We are a growing US Aerospace parts supplier looking to hire a “hands – on”, manufacturing engineer to work at our Mexican subsidiary. We manufacture thin walled components from 3 inch to 12 inch diameter made of a variety of metals including 17-4, 300 series stainless steel, Inconel and titanium. Our parts typically are tightly toleranced and are manufactured in lot sizes of under 100. Typical manufacturing steps include CNC turning, milling and grinding.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years experience in a CNC type machine shop environment and specialize in developing manufacturing techniques to produce low quantity tight tolerance components.

Must have the desire to improve our manufacturing processes under a tight time limit by working with our Mexican machinists and supervisors to improve the manufacturing process.

Adept at using measuring instruments, the use of cutting tools including feeds, speeds and depth of cut, and in the development of go-no-go fixturing

In addition to “hands-on” activities, the applicant must be capable of documenting the manufacturing plans using ACAD.

Experience with G Code programming is necessary and Master-Cam experience is a plus.

We require someone who understands geometric tolerancing, measuring variation and materials, technical specifications, and who has experience with a wide variety of machining techniques.

Must be fluent in Spanish and understand English.

Machine Shop Supervisor - Mexico Plant

We are a growing US Aerospace parts supplier looking to hire a “hands – on”, machine shop supervisor to work at our Mexican subsidiary. We manufacture thin walled components made of a variety of metals including 17-4, 300 series stainless steel, Inconel and titanium. Our parts are manufactured in lot sizes under 100 and require CNC turning, milling and grinding.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years experience in a CNC type machine shop environment specializing in low quantity tight tolerance production.

Have the capacity to improve manufacturing processes under a tight time limit by working with our Mexican machinists to improve the process.

Experience with G Code programming is necessary; Mastercam experience is a plus.

Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, and measuring variation.

Experience with Okuma and Fanuc controls.

Must be fluent in Spanish and understand English.

Stein Seal Company manufacturers precision components used primarily in the aerospace industry. We are a privately owned company in business since 1955. We have been at our present location in Kulpsville (outside of Lansdale, PA) since 1987. We enjoy an excellent reputation for quality and product performance.

We have an opening on our day shift for an experienced manual machinist, and on night shift for an experienced CNC machinist. The day shift hours are 7:00 - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We normally work overtime Monday through Thursday and some Saturday mornings. The night shift normally works five, ten-hour days. The hours are 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, and 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM on Friday. Our night shift machinists receive a 10% shift premium that is added to the base pay.

Requirements:

The CNC Machinist position requires a minimum of  10 years experience in set-up of lathes, mills, and/or turn/mills on close tolerance work. You will need to have a working knowledge of speeds and feeds, G-codes, and be able to work from blueprints with geometric tolerancing. You will need to take responsibility for the quality of your work

The Manual/CNC Machinist position  requires a minimum of 10 years in set-up of lathes and mills, and ID/OD grinding experience.
